Transfer From Dubai Airport

Does anyone know if it is best to prebook a transfer from Dubai airport to Jumeirah beach or to pick up a taxi when we get there? Many thanks

Taxis there are very cheap lorash, and its not that far.

Dubai doesn't sleep; the taxi queue reaches into next week all through the day!

Act as if you are used to UAE taxis and tell the driver to put his meter on, some of them can be a bit dodgy

Taxis were really cheap in Dubai. I recall it worked out at some ridiculously low price of something like 20p a mile. Someone told me petrol is free in Dubai for residents but maybe that's an urban myth.

Anyway, when we arrived at the airport I was shocked to be greeted by what seemed like a welcoming committee of hundreds of noisy locals who all seemed to be clamouring for us to use their taxis
