Snow In Austria

Am looking to go on a Ski holiday...when does the snow begin and end in Austria?

If you go high up or on the glaciers you can ski right up into April starting anytime soon. Haven't looked but it might be OK now.

Thank you Lady...now please don`t laugh..I am not going to ski...my poor bones are tweeking at me just thinking about it...I just love snow...so instead of going to the beach,decided on this option...log fires,mulled wines etc....heaven!!! Found a super place with room balconies plus a large sun terrace which has a BBQ every day.Just wanted to check on the weather.

Planning on going just after Xmas...recharge my batteries after all the cooking!!!

Here's the current opening dates for the coming season, kloofnek, seems to be winding up to really open at the end of the month, but it depends where your resort is...

kloof it will be lovely to get the lift up to the mountain restaurant and sit and look at the fantastic views and watch the skiers having fun. All while drinking a glass of gluwein of course. Austrian resorts are so pretty. Enjoy.
