It'll be fine, it's just a break for the kids and driving to 'nicer' places won't be a problem (although it might be a bit of a let down for the kids after Disneyworld).

The Natives are known as Swampies, and don't even like each other a great deal to all accounts, we live within 10 miles, have a view of it from the house, went there once,listened to the Banjoes, it was once too often!

There are several holiday parks around Whitstable, which is a really delightful town. Whitstable 'proper' doesn't have much of a beach but Tankerton, which is like a suburb of Whitstable, has a very pleasant, sandy beach. It's an easy drive from there to the ferry terminal at Dover and you'll find plenty to interest the family in the area. (Canterbury is just down the road).

We're in Hampton Bay, between Whitstable and Hernia Bay, Whitstable is good, Herne Bay almost as good, lots of accom. in area, could not in all honesty back Sheppey apart from a visit maybe.
