I've been twice in November. It's totally pot luck. The first time it was cloudy all week and not warm enough to swim, really disappointing. The second time it was 26+ and full sun every day, won't be really cold though and a lot warmer than here.

ive been in nov and dec both times it was late 70s so bikini weatherr pool bit chilly tho
I've been December/Jan staying in Tenerife PLaya de las Americas, it was quite warm springlike, and it didn't rain while we were there. I wore cotton trousers and skirts and summer tops, I also took a swim suit but it wasn't warm enough to swim, but did a bit of sunbathing by the Hotel pool. In the evening, dresses and I took a cardigan or light jacket. It is much cooler in the north of Tenerife - Porta de la Cruz. I had a jumper and warmer trousers and shoes to come back home in because it was thick of snow in England. It's the luck of the draw with the weather but Tenerife is the best bet late in the year.
I agree with both of the above, best to treat it as spring weather in the UK but it does depend where you go, Lanzaroti tends to have a breeze in the afternoons but it is not unpleasant, sea swimming is brave as are the pools. You can sunbathe comfortably most of the but it ain't midsummer Mediterranean. So UK spring clothes, fleeces but also shorts, Enjoy xx
south of each island is warmer and sunnier than the north, as you can see from the skies

We've been to Tenerife for the last 5 Xmases (and hopefully this year as well). South Tenerife is usually better, as the north is generally cloudier. We usually stop in Playa de Las Americas/Costa Adeje.

December is, on average, the wettest month in Tenerife (followed closely by November, then January), but in all the times we've been, it's usually been nice. If I remember correctly, we had rain for 2 or 3 days on one holiday, then it was nice again - usually long sunny spells with some cloud cover on some days.

During the day it's shorts weather and sunbathing is quite pleasant. At night time, I was quite comfortable wearing a t shirt and jeans.
