depends on the age of said kids. I haven't been there for a good few years, so apologies if any of the following are no longer there: There is the Butlins site which you can go in for a day visit. There is also a good indoor swimming pool near to Butlins called Aquasplash. Dunster castle is ok if the kids are older not a tremendous amount to keep younger kids fascinated. . Dunster Beach is fantastic for fossils. There is Tropiquaria in Watchet which is very near to Minehead. This has snakes, etc plus fish. The old steam train is definitely worth a go. There is a Lifeboat Station in Minehead which you can look around. There is a big park in Minehead where you can play crazy golf, I think other things were on offer to, can't quite remember. Dunster also has a working water mill and a dolls museum. That's all I can think of at the moment, will try to remember more for you.
