Holidays In Egypt
I have just heard that a nephew of mine has gone to Egypt for two weeks hols, but without telling anyone, including my brother. We have no idea where he is but it is unlikely that he is sightseeing at the Pyramids !
I thought the Red Sea resorts were out of bounds at present, so where else could he be ?

When I went to Egypt I went to a place called Marsa Alam. The brochure sold it so well. Cafes and shops blah blah blah. Reality was the hotel was in the middle of nowhere and had a cafe and a shop. The nearest town was a 40 minute drive away. Turned out to be a really relaxing holiday as we had nothing else to do...
I have just done a quick search on holidays in Sharm el sheikh and there are quite a few to be found. But as the FO advises against travel to the airport, how are people getting there ?
I seem to recall that when we discussed this a few months ago, I was told it was a very dangerous journey overland.
