I am traveling to Durham from Birmingham tomorrow and have little time for connection. Can anyone tell me which platform the Plymouth to Edinburgh train usually leaves from?

I don't think I'm being terribly helpful. Do you want to know the platform at Birmingham?

This doesn't give platform number
best to wait in any case as there are constant changes..and Durham is not that big..look on the screens when you arrive
bring warm clothes ...it is Baltic here in Edinburgh

Looking for platform number in Birmingham
by the time you reach Durham things can change...but usually platform 2
or have I misunderstood..are you coming to Edinburgh changing at DURHAM?
It's the Birmingham platform (for Birminham to Durham stage) that's wanted here I am pretty sure
Travelling to Durham via Birmingham. Will change at Birmingham to join the Plymouth to Edinburgh train (and get off at Durham)
9A IF YOUR DEP IS 11.03
where are you connecting from, at New Street, or is that where you'll be entering the rail system? because the lines to and from Plymouth and Edinburgh are on the same side of the station, these expresses typically use the higher platform numbers - but not always. New Street typically operates on a lastminute.com planning system so any platform advised now will be out of date tomorrow.

on your mobile, go to http://ojp.nationalrail.co.uk/service/ldbboard/dep/BHM
and when the 1103 train is shown on that page (typically 30mn before), the platform will show on the LHS.
