Liverpool is a FAB city. Go to both cathedrals buf also to St Luke's church known locally as the Bombed Out Church.
Two lovely eateries are Pho and Mowgli, both on Bold Street. Walker Art Gallery is a must. Are you booking a hotel? We always stay at The Hard Day's Night Hotel, its right on the corner of St John Street and Matthew Street...where the Cavern and lots of other bars are. It's a Beatles themed hotel, as you might have guessed and has a nice restaurant called Blake's. I'm not sure if the Duck Tours are still running but they're fun..... a bus which goes into the water. The Beatles Experience is good but can get very crowded. We hired a private taxi which was great, and took us to all The Beatles' houses, schools, places mentioned in their songs, penny lane, Strawberry Field, the Barber (shaves another customer) etc etc..... plus he took photos of both us. Liverpool Museum, well worth a visit! Have a great time, you'll be glad you went. x
