Also any must-sees-and-dos?

Travelling early September.

Thanks x

may depend where you're going in Zurich - but Airport to Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) takes as little as 10 minutes.

here's a useful journey planner -

Thank you so much!

We haven't booked our hotel yet but we'll look for something quite central x
The railway is undoubtedly the best method in all but exceptional cases, a second short distance method from the station will be required. Zurich is a tidy place and going on foot, if practically feasible, is well worth choosing. I am not clear on payment methods available on the trams but they work well, if you can pay your fare conveniently.
The No 10 Glattalbahn tram runs from the airport to Zurich's main railway station every 7½ minutes (or every 15 minutes at off-peak times).

There's a journey planner here, where you can enter the address of your hotel:

Superb, thanks guys.

Zurich wasn't exactly on my bucket list but I'm quite excited now. My OH has bought us tickets to see Andrea Bocelli at the Hallenstadion.
