My flight isn´t til next thursday, I´ve tried to check in using my easyjet app, with no joy, they said my passport number wasn´t right. I tried again with my laptop with the same result.
so they said they needed extra information, eg all my personal data, then once again my passport number was rejected!!
any advice would be appreciated, i am expecting to make an expensive phonecall to the customer care, is there an alternative?

Have you already entered your API with your new passport number? If you haven't then I think it won't let you check-in onine which you can normally do 30 days before departure.
I know that when my daughter books with Easy Jet her details come up and she just reconfirm them. Don’t know if this means she is registered but would imagine so

Live chat? Sounds a good option.

The API has been my problem all along, they keep telling me that my passport number doesnt match with the pop up box!
Question Author
Live chat, just googled it and it says its rarely available 24/7
A little ambiguous! So i suppose its hit and miss.
This may be a pointless answer but are you using the letter 'O' on your passport details instead of the numeral '0' ( Zero) ?

I made that mistake once when booking a channel ferry trip.
