If I was going away at Christmas, Sam, it would be possible Rio, Buenos Aires or Singapore. Or Australia. One of my colleagues went to Tasmania for Christmas and had a wonderful time.
Those are too long haul. I found I suffer terribly with jet lag nowadays, and I think we will have to go to Japan again in Spring 2021, so that's all the long haul I want to do. We will have to think of somewhere nearer for a few days.
Am in South Africa, Plettenberg Bay, for3 months. Beautiful country and such friendly people. Very fortunate to escape English winter now we are retired.
Indeed Vagus. I have lived almost within sight of Mon for 52 years and worked all over the island back in the 70s. We also love a tyrip down the Llyn Peninsular and a day out to Criccieth or Harlech and along that coast. I even have the odd day out Carp fishing in Criccieth, and just outside Beamaris and treasure every minute of my time in the places. We love Aberdaron. Promise you all....here is nowhere as beautiful as N.Wales...........but I drive miles every year to Cornwall. :))
Several places including Russia and the Caribbean. I've been to all the places I particularly wanted to go to - including Russia and the Caribbean.

//just off to Luxor
yeah same place as the fella who touched the security guard //

That was Hurghada.
Lanzarote is the windy island LCG
I’m hoping to book Vancouver, but just waiting on an op date for my dad. After that, not sure, possibly Ljubljana.
Cyprus ,Spain ,Cyprus love it !
I'm going to Cyprus over Easter. First time in nearly 20 years and will be visiting family and friends.
Probably a few short breaks in the UK and at least one to the North York Moors. I won't fly anymore. It's too much hassle Had loads of foreign holidays and been to loads of places over the last 50 + years. Just regret that I have never been to India, but I couldn't handle it now. Never mind - we live in a rural area with the beautiful North Norfolk coast on our doorstep.
Thinking of going to the Uk for a few weeks this summer, very hot here that time of the year, but Uk prices , and the thought of waiting in a Non E/U Citizen Queue on return, is putting me of the thought.
Next month we're going to Whistler, BC to stay with eldest aughter in their ski lodge and see grandchildren, they are 6 & 4 and can ski far better than I ever could.

Amalfi Coast Italy end of June gong back to honeymoon destination to celebrate 'milestone' anniversary.

Really looking forward to Salem, Massachusetts in the fall visiting all by myself staying with old schoolfriend who has a wonderful house there.
Apart from that not much really.

Krakow in early June with the rest of our quiz team and a week in Norfolk staying with some very goods friends of ours.
We've just been watching Rick Stein's Venice to Istanbul, consequently, I'm looking at hotels in Split ;0)
Fuertaventura across the narrow strait from Lanzarote is even windier Bobbisox.
France for between eight and twelve weeks every year. After that I'd still go back to France. Love the place and the people.
Might see you on Lanzarote if you're there mid June, Bobbi. :-)

I love Cyprus and I've been to the south side 6 times. This April will be my first time in the Turkish North.

Rocky - I'm going to Ljubljana at the end of May. I hope to see you there! ;-)

Split or Dubrovnik is where my husband really wants to go. I would favour Split out of the two.

Naomi - is it Moscow or St Petersburg your are visiting? I must admit the architecture looks amazing.
