Has anyone recently travelled to Benidorm (With TUI) that are double vaccinated? Cannot get my head around what me and hubby should or shouldn't do. Hearing horror stories of people doing wrong tests etc.
As I understand we have to do a Spanish form TWO days before departure flight. Then two days before return flight have to do a PCR test and a passenger locater form. Lastly a PCR test must be booked for 48 hours after arriving back in the UK but this must be booked BEFORE return flight. Tui supposedly do a pack for £20 with everything in through Chronomics. I see no such kit that has all of this in. Tui where no help on the phone. Wish we hadn't booked up now. Please can anyone help / advise??

you have it right. you ALSO have to provide proof (electronic or paper) of vaccination to get onto spain
Go to gov.uk. Advice current 8/31.
Just read a bit. Double vax with certificate no need for test.
Did not read further but airlines seem to set their own rules. Can you visit or call a reputable travel agency for advice.
Outbound:
You need to complete an online Health Control Form prior to travel, here: https://www.spth.gob.es/
You then need to present proof of vaccination upon arrival. Spain accepts the UK's Covid pass (via the 'NHS' app, NOT the 'NHS Covid-19' one).

Return:
Spain is currently on the UK's 'Amber' list. Assuming that remains unchanged, you need to take a Covid test in the three days prior to travelling. (A lateral flow test will suffice. You don't need to take a PCR one).

You also need to book a Covid test in the UK, to be taken within two days of your arrival. ( https://www.gov.uk/find-travel-test-provider ).

You further need to complete an online passenger locator form prior to travel: https://provide-journey-contact-details.homeoffice.gov.uk/passengerLocatorFormUserAccountHolderQuestion

The information above is sourced from here
https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/spain/entry-requirements
and here
https://www.gov.uk/guidance/red-amber-and-green-list-rules-for-entering-england
and assumes that you'll be travelling to England. (The rules might be slightly different for other parts of the UK).

thankyou The .GOV sight states a PCR is needed Its no wonder people are getting this wrong
does it? i thought it said PCR OR proof of vax
The test PRIOR to your return travel (in Spain) can be a lateral flow one. The test AFTER your return travel (in the UK) has to be a PCR one.
