Travel From Gibraltar To Cadiz

Hello, can anyone advise me please on how to travel from Gib to the area near to Vejer de la frontera? I presume I will need to hire a care. So if i fly to Gib, can i walk through to La Linea, and get a hire care there? any advice would be appreciated. thanks

You can hire a car at the airport.

Actually you can get a bus from Gibraltar to Cadiz. Sorry I can’t post a link but it’s easy to find in google.

there are 2 buses per day from La Linea to Cadiz
at 07h00 and 16h30, journey time 2h30 - 3h0. company website here:-

there is a train but it's slower than the bus.

When are you travelling. If it's not until around Easter, it might be simpler to go via Jerez.

Jerez Airport is only about 35 miles from Vejer de la Frontera, with cheap flights from Stansted on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 28 March. (TUI fly there too, from Gatwick, on a seasonal basis, but I can't check flight dates at the moment as their website is undergoing maintenance).
