Yes, we had ours last Friday.
Yes, we are with OVO and the amount went direct into the bank account yesterday.
Yes, received it last week. Quite a surprise as we thought it was only for people who were entirely off grid like houseboats and caravans.
If you pay your electricity bill by Direct Debit then the £200 will be paid into the bank account from which the DD is made.
If you pay on receipt of bill then the amount is credited to your electricity account.
There are some occasions where you have to apply but I am not sure of those occasions.

Yes, I understood that Furry. Just like the £67 pound refunds. I just don't want to slip the net! Thanks.
How is 'off grid' defined here ?
We have electricity but no gas, so our heating is oil.
Question Author
In this case not on grid forvgas
Sould have said, we also have an open fire.

I find it odd because we are getting more help than others. I could understand it more if it was off grid for both electricity and gas. It was decided because oil, prices are so high.
Hope this helps Bazile - should be paid throughout February.

Nearly 2 million households who use alternative energy sources such as heating oil, biomass and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) to warm their homes will receive the support which was doubled to £200 last year.

The vast majority, including many homes in rural areas, will get it automatically through their electricity supplier as a credit on their bill throughout February. A small minority of customers, such as those living in park homes or on static houseboats with no direct energy supplier, will need to apply to receive the payment through an online portal that will launch later this month.

We have a wood burner which is all we need in the evenings.
We have open fires which are not quite all we need . We still need oil for hot water and the logs eke out the oil usage. Just waiting our beloved government to cave to greens and ban logs. Then we will be reliant on oil, still at just under 1£ per litre.
Question Author
I doubt that anyone important will notice if we still use logs. Dry logs of course!
Question Author
And woods all around us!
Mr Gove will send the log police round , just you wait :(
Question Author
In areas like ours where there is virtually no population just a scattering of homes here and there I don't think Mrr Gove will bother! Our polution is virtually zilch. If he does we can dig a large hole on our bit of land and Bury him in it! ;0)
Still waiting
We have no gas but no oil either so as an all electric household I guess we’re missing out?
