My partner and I are planning to marry at this resort in feb 2007. It has recently been taken over by Almond and was previously St James Morgan Bay.

Has anyone been there recently and if so what did you think of the resort.

Many thanks

have been to caribbean a few times and have seen weddings there. some places tend to queue you up, which would put me offf. stayed at almond beach club, was ok, but didn't impress me. good luck - paul

Thanks for your reply. I know in st Lucia they only do up to three a day and we will have the last one so that we are not rushed.

One of my friends is the sales manager for Almond in the UK so I know we will be looked after but obviously she is going to rave about the hotel she works for. I just wanted to get a non biased view.

I know Almond in Barbados had some bad reports but the one in st Lucia has just been renovated so fingers crossed all will be ok.

Thanks again

I stayed several years ago at Rendezvous in St Lucia which was fantastic and a friend of mine went more recently for her honeymoon. I'm afraid I know nothing about the resort in question but if you are in doubt would recommend that you check out Rendezvous. We went for my brother in laws wedding which was very nice but I think his wife was a bit disappointed as we all ended up back in the pool in the afternoon as it was so hot. I guess if you want a relaxing wedding in the sun it is perfect. Hope you have a great day whatever you decide.
