I wish to go to virginia beach for 10days and new york for 4 /5 days can you recommend any accomodation and airlines flying manchester to new york then New York to Norolk virginia rtn

Not such a straighforward routing here. There are no carriers who fly to Norfolk via New York so this rules out a free stopover. Most flights route via Atlanta or Chicago (these would be free on a return tkt to Norfolk) Could you go from Birmingham as then you would be able to fly on Continental airlines via Newark and get a free stopover on your Norfolk fare??? Otherwise you can do it but its going to cost you much more.

I stayed in Days Inn, just off Times Square in Mahattan. Clean, cheap and very central.
