I'm taking my 5 year old son to Butlins Minehaead in the summer. any suggestions on local attractions

If you phone Minehead Tourist Information Centre and explain that you'll be visiting the area with a youngster, they'll send you a collection of relevant leaflets and brochures:

(Personally, I think it's better to phone. If you send an e-mail, they'll probably just post you the basic brochure for the area. If you speak to them directly, they'll be more likely to go round the leaflet displays and pick out all of the ones for family activities).
