i am going to KOS on holiday , does anyone know which mobile phones will work from the island

When you say mobile phones I gather you mean networks? T-Mobile worked for me in Kos, but I would imagine most networks would be fine (unless they specifically say they won't i.e. Tesco value tariff). :o)

Have you been to Kos before? What part of the island are you going to?

have been to kos before, just outside kos town at the hotel Continental Palace. the mobile i use is on the virgin network.

All UK networks work on Kos as they will use a local network in Greece for outgoing and incoming calls, (you will notice this when you turn on your mobile when you reach Greece it will show a different Network supplier.) make sure you are set up with roaming before you go telephone your network in the UK ask them if you are you set up for roaming also what are the charges for Greece, as this could be expensive. Enjoy your vacation.

Hi woolleysheep!

I was going to give you some ideas as to what to do and see whilst in Kos, but if you have been there before then I'm sure you will know it already!! My favourite part of the island has to be the mountain village of Zia - beautiful scenery and amazing sunsets!

I assume you have international roaming on your phone..if so it will automatically pick up Cosmote network, or Panafon....I have no problems using my orange phone in Kos.
