Hi am looking to booka flight to australia in Jan 07 and have been quoted some prices but some seem to exclude tax, does anyone know what i can roughly expect to pay as tax on this sort of flight?

Sorry sammy but I've no idea. I'm going to New Zealand on Friday and all the prices I was quoted included tax. I spent several weeks looking on the internet for "deals" but eventually found the best price by visiting several travel agents. My advice is shop around as much as possible and book as early as possible. It appears that every flight is fully booked and there are no cheap deals. Good luck in your search.
Family members going in December and quoted 200 in tax - stops/changes make the fees higher - travelling Frankfurt/Dubai/Singapore
the tax's will change depending on which way u go.. u can go via the USA or via Far East, and also depending on airline and country u r going via.
u will be looking at approx tax's from 125 upwards..
the tax's will also change and go up if u want to stay a few days/nights (stopover) in any of the countries u r going via...
Hi sammy.

I've just had a closer look at my ticket (787 return Glasgow to Auckland) and it has 3 entries under Tax/Fee/Charge for 20.00, 27.10 and 150.60, ie a total of 197.70. Some of this could be vat I suppose but I just don't know.
