Party time Ibiza
Me and 2 mates want to go to Ibiza in September for 2 weeks, was just wondering how much spending money we would need? we worked out that the flight/hotel would come to about 300..........
but we want to know really how much spends we need to take, as we will probably be out partying most nights.
Does anyone have any recent experiences?

Cheapest beer I saw all week was 400ptas (about 1.60), whereas elsewhere in Spain was easy enough to find one for 200ptas.
Don't like to say this, but probably more expensive now with Euros - I know the Canaries have.
Admittedly, I wasn't careful with my money, just spent what I wanted when I wanted, but Ibiza is not a cheap holiday if you're going partying.

I don't know really. I think I overindulged a bit. I couldn't have lasted another week at that pace certainly. We were only there for a week and hadn't paid for the holiday (won it off the telly), so tried to cram all the big nights in in one week. Never made it across the island to Ibiza town. Did the nights in San An and up to Space and Cream
Like the others post say, ibiza is not cheap, if you are planning on partying every night for 2 weeks you would be looking at a lot. Clubs are generally around 40 + to get into and then drinks are extremely pricey, i would sggest doing a different club every other night and then going to bars etc for some nights
Hiya, i spent about 1000 in 10 days. I suppose it really just depends on what you do whilst your there, if your having a big night every night or mixing it up and having a few quiter nights in between. I could probably have done it a lot cheaper but of course also spent more if i wanted. I suppose just take what you've got/can afford and make it last. If you start running out slow down with the spending. If your going for two weeks you will probably find that some nights you chill out and just go for a few beers and some food.
As you are going for a fortnight i would recommend taking at least 1500 spending money.
I went in September 2001 and spent about 800 in a week , then in 2004 i went in July, again for a week and spent a grand.
Whatever you do take more money than you think you'll ever be able to spend, i am certain you'll find something to spend it on :)

If I were you I would open up a Nationwide Flex Account - you can use their cashcard in ATM machines in Europe without incurring any charges for doing so (most other banks/building societies charge 1.50-2.50 per transaction). That way you can draw cash out as and when you need it and won't have to worry about how much to take with you.
I come back from Ibiza two weeks ago (yes I was an up for it girl!) and went for two weeks and spent 1300, and that wasn’t going to all the big clubs every night. I would like to go again next year but am going to take at least 2 grand for the holiday so I can really go mad!
Clubs like Pacha, Privilege (where they hold Manumission), Amnesia etc you are looking at about 8 euro’s for a bottle of water, at Pacha we paid 25 Euros for two Vodka & cokes! To get in the clubs you are looking at between 35 – 55 Euros. You can go to the West End for a cheaper night, but if your over 18 to be honest the West End can be very boring and while the drinks are cheaper its not like mainland spain, even the three shots are watered down archers. Also, in Ibiza everything is spaced out so unless you go on the (hellhole) disco’s buses (once was enough for me) you do end up getting taxi’s to the clubs and back as they are spotted around the island!
I had the best two weeks ever – we went to the opening night of Manumission (wow) and I loved Ibiza enough to know that I am going back next year but don’t think its cheap holiday because its really not like that, and if all you want to do is sit in the West End I would suggest going to Magaluf instead as that’s completely not what Ibiza is about!
