August Bank Holiday weekend... what should we see/do?

Go to the top of Arthurs Seat for some amazing views of the city

note that it's not a bank holiday in Scotland, they had theirs earlier in the month

Still be taking the time off though - and the banks will be closed.....and buses on silly schedules....

Take a night time guided ghost walk / do the A/Seat thing / do the zoo / do the Holyrood Palace thing / Castle / watch the fireworks at the end of the tattoo / eat a lot - try the haggis of course, and deep fried Mars bars - with curry sauce / do not buy a souvenir bagpipe set / do spit on the Heart of Midlothian / do the Royal Yacht Britannia if you fancy it - walking round a boat for an hour.....

Lots to do - take the days as they come and enjoy......
