venice vaporetto

is the charge for using the vaporetto from st marks square to the lido the same as using the vaporetto along route one from start to finish? is it possible to purchase a venice visitors card in venice or does it have to be pre -ordered?

Not sure about a Venice Visitors card, but you can buy a day's pass which covers the varporetto and boats between the various islands (Murano, Burano and the cemetry island) and the lido. It was well worth it!
