I am forever hearing about people paying unbelievably small amounts for their holidays! Are there sites that specialise in cheap holidays?

I have found the air miles site very helpful. It isnt great for booking on line but if you call them up they have always been cheapest for me. Also, try the sunday times travel supplement, they always have good offers advertised. You have to be quick though.
Well Simon, by now you might be thinking that these are some new form of urban myth (I certainly was). But a lad at work on another shift got two holidays in Spain for 1 each... He took his girlfriend (I think he paid for her) and when he returned he was only home for one week or so coz before he got that holiday he'd already booked another one for two people at 20 each. (He had to take his dad on that one coz his girlie couldn't get the time off work.)

I think he got them off mytravel.com but I'll try to remember to ask next time I'll see him.

i know a couple of people in the pub ( where else ) who always manage to find an auction, or last min site, where they got a weeks hol in barbados for 36 pence and have just got back but when i try the same sites these deals are never there ! am i unlucky or just evian.

I am beginning to think it is an urban myth!! A guy in my work says he flies to Germany for 1, yet any site he tells me about never has deals like this when a look them up! I think there may be a lot of b.s. going on!
You could check out the holidays advertised on http://www.bargainescape.com. It's a site where travel companies can post their latest/lastminute deals. Worth a look, sometimes you can find a real bargain!
