November city breaks
Hi everyone, I am thinking of going for a long weekend city break in Europe in November, and was hoping for suggestions of somewhere good to go that has some nice restaurants, and some sightseeing too.
All suggestions welcome!

Everything is really cheap (accomodation, flights, food, tourist hot-spots, the vodka), the people are really friendly too. You can have a really good 3 course meal, with ample alcohol for about 25, and that is combined for 2 not each.
There is so much amazing architecture and culture in the city, from the gothic cloth hall, castles, dragons caves, the jewish quarter where they filmed Schindlers List (a now really modern/updeat and funky area of the town), churches, markets, the biggest market square in Eurpoe.
Have a look at this for some more details if what I have said tickles your fancy.

I'd vote for Poland too - Krakow is wonderful - culture, history, sightseeing, restaurtants, bars and nightlife.
Gdansk is a really great place too - open, welcoming, a good mixture of history - especially the "Roads to Freedom" Solidarity exhibition - culture, near to the sea (Sopot, a lovely seaside town, is a 25 minute train ride away), restaurants - especially fish ones - nightlife, bars and Goldwasser, the local tipple.
All that plus heart warming, breath taking, wonderful strong vodka - you can't go wrong!
