Sky - changing channels

Is there a decent device available to enable me to change channels from another room without buying another digibox.

Yes Sky sell them - it's called a mouse - I think - enquire with Sky themselves as I think they can supply them. It sits on top of your TV and comes with another remote - it then enables you to change channels from the tv you are watching. I also believe that there's nolimit as to how many you can have - my mate has about three or four.
