their is not a problem with that..

as long as u have a copy of ur bookings from the airline u r coming back on u will have no problem,,

just look at the costs as u will need to pay credit card charges on both carriers as u can not make 1 booking 4 both on 1 of the others website or with a travel agent like u can for schedule airlines
There's definitely not a problem with it, although a lot of the time, this way of travelling can cost more than booking a straightforward return flight with one airline.

See if you can fly with either Thomsonfly or Ryanair only. It might save you a few pounds.

I also know that one-way flights with British Airways have been known to cost 'more' than returns. I'm not sure if this would be the case with the airlines you have mentioned though.
I have been doing this about 3 times a year since 1997 and have never had a problem, this Christmas I'm off to Portugal going with Easyjet and coming back with Monarch, I alway's find the best and cheapest flights and book early, that's how I can afford to go 3 times a year.
I regularly use Thomson to fly to and Ryanair to fly back from Pisa due to convenience of time and place and there is absolutely no problem with this. There is actually no price advantage to booking a return because each flight is treated as a separate entity. Have a good time
