France to Switzerland touring holiday

Following my earlier posts on here re our holiday and because of that the discovery of the michelin site (which gives so much info and is what ive been looking for on net for months)ive now come up with our route for this + will stay over around the following areas: 1st stop Reims 2nd Dijon 3rd Lyon then stay around Lausanne area for probably 6 nights then coming back Strasburg, Thionville, Charleville Meziezes.Has anyone done this route/area? any recomendations of places to stay or visit would be good. Or any info, do's and don'ts etc! We prefer to stay in scenic areas rather than towns. Many thanks.
