Well i have booked my hol to Bangkok and Phuket for Nov! Really looking forwrd to it.

Someone has said that you get a better rate of exchange out there if you take usa dollars. Is that true? Cause if it is it may be worth me getting some now with the rate being so good, what do you think?

I always just get cash out of the ATM when I need it.
If you convert to $ and then $ to THB you are paying two lots of fees....
Get money from an ATM when you are there. If possible use a Nationwide account as the do not make foreign currency withdrawl charges, like most other banks.

You tend to get the best rate, If you pay with a credit card. So whereever possible pay with a credit card.
I agree, I travel alot and use my nationwide card for cash from atm's in all continents and am always amazed with the exchange rates. Safer too!
