where to go??

i plan to go away for a week in easter but i dont know where to go it needs to be somewhere hot, no longer than 5/6hour flight, nice beach and has 5 star hotels :)
oh yeah and not tacky!


any ideas?

One place I can reomend personally is Corpus Christi in Texas the have a great beach there i have been there 4 or 5 times plenty of hotels 4* and 5* it certainly is not tacky at although the flight might be a bit longer than you wanted but with the strength of the pound against the dollar at the moment you will get very good value for money there is plenty to do and see there and sunshine is garanteed (sorry about spelling never was any good at that)

Dubai is the most obvious place. I went one Easter, I think the flight took maybe six hours, and there is an abundance of 5* (and 6* and 7*) hotels. In fact, if I had the chance, I'd be there this easter too...

How about Antigua !!
Its part of the West indies. People are friendly. good food. Crystal clear waters ( great for snorkling) beautiful beaches fringed with palm trees. And its HOT
It will take you about 9 hours to fly, it will probally be a virgin flight.I went a coupkle of years ago. An all inclusive package and it cost about a grand.
Make sure you check out the casinos too!!
