I`m off to New york in June staying in brooklyn. Which is the nearest Airport ? Jfk or newark ?

jfk is located in Queens, the borough adjacent to Brooklyn, and both are to the east of Manhattan. Newark is in New Jersey, on the far side of the Hudson river.
