Do we have any Iberia fans here? Any? All I seem to read about them is rude, surly staff and lost baggage.

That's been my experience too. Dirty aircraft as well. Fortunately, they've never managed to loose my luggage. Not an airline of preference with me.
And I didn't mention the cr*p food.
(Oops, I meant 'lose' not 'loose'!)
we flew Iberia from AMS to BCN... flt OK, A/C OK... food expensive, but drink was only slightly more than other airlines. Crew were civil. I wasn't that impressed by their safety demo and cabin security, but then again, I have been crew for a long time! Experience not the most memorable... is that a good or bad thing????

Yep thats where I always look SteveD
I don't fly too much, but had no problems on the 4 flights I've been on with them. Dirtiest plane I've ever been on came courtesy of Ryan Air.
Question Author
Not surprised campbellking. I also found Ryanair planes dirty. The cleaners dont get much time to clean in between turnarounds do they? Apart from Ryanair all the other airlines I have flown with have turned out clean (BA, GB Airways, Monarch, Easyjet, Singapore Airlines, Lufthansa, AA, Aer Lingus...)
