i.ve been to alcudia twice and thought it was very good. it takes about 2 1/2 hours to fly to majorca then about an hour on the coach to get to alcudia. i,d get a taxi to take you to the resort from the airport as it can take up to a couple of hours on a coach sometimes dropping other passengers off at their hotels.

I went the year before last.

jonpmay is right - flight takes about 2.5 hours and then the coach journey really depends if you are one of the first or last to be dropped off. I would stay on the coach though as it would cost you quite a bit for a cab! They are not cheap

Luckily for us we were allocated on arrival and got the best hotel outside of the main resort which was gorgeous and had its own beach, and we were dropped off first.

hi ,ive been there x2.Its nice,gorg beach and massive.Plenty of night life and bars,alot hidden down side streets! Marina nice.Takes 2 1/2 hrs to get there. Takes approx 3/4 of an hour to get to most resorts from palma.Know you will enjoy the trip.Ann
