Try Money Supermarket.com it a quick search and gives results in monetary order, but make sure it covers all your needs

thanks, is there anything i should make sure is included?? 1st time i've done this
if going to the USA, plenty of medical cover (no NHS there). If you have expensive cameras, good valuables cover - though when I lost mine I claimed under my household insurance. Check it covers skiing or hang-gliding etc if that's what you do.
i found the post office the cheapest for short trips in europe
We always use www.direct-travel.co.uk and find them very helpful. Twice we have had to claim from them under very different circumstances and both times they've paid out no problem!
Don't use the Post Office. Their policy is underwritten by Axa and I wouldn't deal with them again if I never travelled. I have an annual worldwide with NFU and they are brilliant but they only sell to household customers as an add on
I used insureandgo.com. Thought it was pretty cheap. It was about 13 for a week for silver cover. That was a year ago tho so prices may have gone up.
i use journeywise. to go to google and type in that.
I get a yearly travel insurance policy with insureand go, they are really good but you can only do it online
dont go for the cheapest, they probably wont pay out. A friend bought on line and had a back problem in Cyprus after a fall and they wouldnt pay up.
