hw long does it tak to recieve your passport once you've sent of for it, i need to renew mine and stil havnt got my photo for it and im going on holiday in june ?x

usually takes abouut 3 wks - however they say it can take up to 6wks so id do it asap.

you could always go down to liverpool and get it the same day but higher charge for this and you ahve to queue....

i had mine checked at the post office and i had it back in 10 days and that was 2 weeks ago!!

If you want a same day passport you will have to make an appointment. I did this a couple of years ago, it was more expensive, but I had my new passport within about 4 hours of my appointment.

I used the check and send service at my post office, went on a saturday told it would be two weeks from Monday and it arrived on the Wednesday, 2 days!
