i pack everything and never use half of it lol

dont forget to put one set of clothes in your hand luggage in case your suitcase goes somewhere else.

Take a beach towel at least
yep listen to redcrx, I didnt and when they lost my luggage for 3 days I spent first couple of days trying to see how many different outfits I could make out of a vest top, trousers and a cardigan. You'll see my creation the cardigan skirt in shops soon. :-)

lol, i'm scared now! it's my first time on a plane and this is kind of our honeymoon (a year late). i hope nothing goes wrong, but i will definately take note!
My dad always has the attitude that even if u have forgotten something when u pack, as long as uv got ur passport and some money, anything else that important u can buy when u get there!
I'm sure it wont, thats just my family curse of holidays. and just me really :-)
I couldnt buy all my luggage, only had so much spending money. :-(
Dont worry as I said we have a curse.
We had to leave redcrx in England on one holiday, we had car broken into on another, my parents had a big car crash on their last one and my luggage got left in England on my first holiday with mates and we didnt have a hotel booking when we got there. :-) So where are you off to? :-)
definitely pack towels, hotel ones usually are tiny! things I usually forget are stuff like a hairbrush! last year took way too much stuff so wrote a list of all the clothes I actually needed to refer to this year when, if i hadn't, would undoubtedly over pack again! It's something like -
1 day dress
1 eveningy dress
2 pairs of shorts
2 short skirts
1 long skirt that can be day/evening (worn on the plane)
3 day tops
1 evening top
then stuff like bikinis, last year I took about 7 tops and had to make a point of wearing them cos I'd taken them! ooh! also, 1 pair of day shoes and one pair of evening will see you through fine! sorry if im preaching to the converted btw!

redcrx and 4getmenot, so you're mates? i feel like i'm joining a new family on this site. i'm off to salou, will spend most of my time in portaventura, the big theme park! i get sunstroke tho, lmao, should be fun!
if it is a hotel you are going to then your towels will get changed for you. Would take a beach towel though. I too always feel if I have the important things - passport, tickets and money then anything else I could effectively manage without if forgotten. remember no liquids in your hand luggage unless under 100ml per item and placed in a clear freezer type bag. this includes lipstick and mascara. If taking any electrical equip you may need travel adaptor depending on where you are going. A few daytime outfits and a few night time and you are sorted. We all take too much I am sure - just means more washing on your return though.
she's my older sis :-)
Don't take full size toiletries - I always take either small sizes, or half full ones so that they can all be chucked before coming home again. Have a toothbrush in your hand luggage too. Chew gum or toffee or something for take-off and landing, so your ears don't pop, and lastly take something to keep yourself busy on the plane. ipod, crossword, good book, loads of sweets??

Hope you have a fantastic holiday/honeymoon xx
Hi hotpink , passport of course and little last minute things like your mobile phone charger , and , as the others said , a spare undies and outfit in hand luggage . :-) Have a wonderful time .x
4getmenot love , when are you going on your hols and where as I really need to make sure I am not near you and your curse !!! lol :-) xx
I always get prickly heat on my belly, not a great thing to have
you should not get sunstroke if you ensure you top up your lotion regularly, drink plenty water throughout the day and if possible wear a hat or headscarf - some are really fashionable.
I tend to stay in England now and just have short breaks Bigmamma, although last one was Glastonbury and this is what happened

Jeez thinking about it I'm one big dollop of bad luck
another tip - you should not get prickly heat if you use an oil free suntan lotion, piz buin do one.

4get, it does seem to be you thats cursed in the main rather than family lol

going to the docs on monday to get advice. i get migraines and vomiting if the sun gets to me. (even when i've got suncream on, sunglasses etc) i top myself up with water often and keep in the shade. the headaches are horrible tho. maybe i'm allergic to the sun!!
often your room may have a little kettle but certainly the hotel would give you hot water if you want it. Good idea to take your own tea bags if you prefer a particular brand.
