Romanian passport

How does a Romanian living in the UK replace a lost
passport? Does it have to involve a trip to the Romanian Embassy in London?

It would certainly involve contacting the embassy. (It might be possible to replace a passport by post, although I think that this would be unlikely). Contact details are here:
