holiday in lake district

Does anyone know where I can get a bargain holiday in the Lake District for five people in August?

Do what i'm doing from Saturday onwards...go camping! We're in a small, no frills type of campsite for 2 weeks for �180.

You have to book camping though, don't you. Have I got time still to find a camp site and book for five people. If so, where? (In the Lake District)

Yeah, you have to book them, but the smaller ones usually have the space.

Be warned, if you are thinking of looking into this campsite, it's next to a railway line, which after a few hours we honestly don't hear any more! Only fair to pre-warn you though.....lol

Thank you. I would consider camping if I can't find anything else, but would prefer bricks and mortar.

Hi notafish, if camping isn't your thing, nd there's enough of you going to make it worthwhile, you could hire a little holiday cottage. Some are reasonably priced, although in August a little hard to find the cheaper ones maybe. Google "holiday cottages in the Lakes" and plenty should come up. Have a lovely time!
