What should i do in toronto?

I am going to toronto for a few days in september and wondering what i should try and see and fit in while there - i want to make the most of it!!thanx!

Went to see Lord of the Rings (the musical) last year, don't know if its still on there, but its worth looking to see what shows are on while you're there - it was so cheap (compared with London prices)and easy to book and print out e-tickets on the internet. Other than that, usual things - CN tower, boat trip to the islands was nice.

it's a big, clean, bustling city worth strolling around in; check out the underground shopping malls (for times of heavy snow). You're also within easyish reach of Niaga Falls.

A great way to see Toronto (even the locals do it) is to get on one of the street-cars. There are numerous routes. You can ask the driver for a transfer, get off one street-car, get on another, and do this for as long as you want for one price. They go fairly slow so you get time to see things as you are moving along. If you see something interesting, get off, have a look around, and then get on another street-car: it's great! DO NOT rent a car: the drivers are crazy (as they are in any big city).
