I am looking to go to Australia for 12-18 months and would like to secure a job in HR. I have no idea how to start this process, or what job agencies I could contact. Can anyone help me?

Try contacting Robert Walters, TMP or Hudson. All 3 are reliable agencies, that have offices in Sydney and quite possibly the UK.
