NO! Enjoy the scenery, carry on to Oban and, if you have time, take the ferry over to Mull.
assuming you're returning too, you could do a "round trip"

out via the main A85 from Tyndrum via Dalmally to Oban, then up the coast to Ballachulish and back to Tyndrum via Glencoe and Rannoch Moor.
Which route?

A82 up Loch Lomond, Tarbet, Inveraray to A85? Stop at the Drovers Inn http://www.thedroversinn.co.uk/ and gasp in awe at the surroundings - inside the bar....After Carindow, stop at the Loch Fyne Oyster Bar http://www.lochfyne.com/pages/content.asp?Page ID=58 - gifts, oysters, garden centre viwers and good restaurant.

Inverarary http://www.inveraray-argyll.com/ - shipping museum - OK, actually a ship.... - the Old Jail visitor centre, nice wee town for a coffee;

Take A819 towards Dalmally, stop at the Inverawe Smokeries, http://www.smokedsalmon.co.uk just before Taynuilt - catch your own tea - rods for hire there - view the smokehouse, buy the smoked trout and loadsof other gifts..

Want a diversion? Turn off the A85 to the Ardanaiseig hotel ath teh head of Loch Awe. - bloomin marvellous place for a meal, stay, rest etc etc http://www.ardanaiseig.com

Boat trips on Loch Awe too http://www.loch-awe.com/main.htm , Power Station visitor Centre at the Pass of Brander before Dalmally, or walk the Cruachan Horseshoe above the Loch...slog to get here but brilliant scenery

If you go another route and take the A816 to Lochgilphead and Kilmartin - stop at Dunadd Fort http://www.undiscoveredscotland.co.uk/kilmarti n/dunadd/index.html north of Bridgend - the original crowning
Highly recommend the 'Green Welly' for a visit en route.

Also Glen Coe is absolutely stunning, worth a drive through, but even better if you can get to the top of a mountain, Buckie being my personal favourite for a quick climb up and down.
