Barcelona hotel

Can anyone recommend a Barcelona hotel. Have been trawling the websites and there are so many to choose from. Personal recommendations would be appreciated.

Depends what sort of hotel you want and how much you want to spend, but I stayed in this hotel last year and it was as central as you could get and nice and clean. I would definitely stay there again.

I booked thru oh.barcelona.com They have pics and ratings from clients. I stayed in 2 bed in Eixample district, nr subway, 100 Eu night Apt #246322. Fabulous balcony on 5th floor. Someone meets you at the apt and explains things. Kitchen had basics already there. Salt, pepper, oil etc. Lots of books to read and guidebooks, and a Span/Eng dictionary! Have to bring cash to pay up front. No problems. Very quiet. Downtown accomm. could be noisy.
