eating your own while flying
hi my gran is flying soon and is wondering if you can take your own food for consumption on board, rather than pay for airlines off the trolley food.
its been that long since i flew i cant recall!
shes planning to take sandwiches.

(Personally, I don't mind paying for food on board. I'm usually only paying 1p for the flight, so I feel obliged to provide them with a bit of profit!).

hehe well my gran likes to be organised, theres 6 of them going and as they've not flown together before for a while there planning all eventualities. ie, where to get tea, medication allowed in hand luggage, seats next to toilets, what shoes to wear dvt tights etc.
their was a debate as to the sandwiches, hence my q.
then at all starts all over again on the return flight...!
im glad there all going, beats going to the community club for soup and tea.
