Can anyone tell me what kind of weather and temperatures I could expect in New York and New England in the month of May?

Similar to here, Viz, just slightly warmer.

Their climate is similar to ours with more extremes, colder in winter and warmer in summer, but it pretty much follows the same pattern as us
New York should be noticeably warmer, but wetter than London.

Average daytime maximum temperatures in New York, in May, are around 20C (Boston is 19C, London is 16C). Overnight minimums average 12C (Boston is 10C, London is 6C). Monthly rainfall, for New York in May, averages 114mm (Boston has 82mm, London has 56mm).

Didn't realise New York would be so wet!!! Will be like being at home!! ( north east scotland)
