Budapest
Hiya - i'm going to Budapest 13th - 18th April
Can anyone recommend any good (cheap) accomodation, hostels, apartments etc?
Also can anyone make any recommendations for any really good bars, clubs, pubs, places to see, things to do, and offer any advice on things to do / not to do
Thank you in advance

It lists no fewer than 84 hostels in Budapest (as well as 41 budget hotels, 29 guest houses and 34 apartments). There are loads of reviews. Normally a score of 70% on HostelWorld is quite good. 80% is very good. 90% is almost unheard of. Yet there are two hostels which average 98% (from quite a large number of reviews) in Budapest. These are:
Central Hostel (from 13.12 per night)
Buda Base (from 11.16 per night)
Worth a look?

Yes, that's one of the more irritating features of the site.
However, I actually entered a stay from the 13th April (for 5 nights) and then went into the detailed pages before quoting those prices. i.e. the prices I've quoted aren't the 'from' prices on the index page; they're the actual prices you'll pay if you book online.
