Usually, when you decide to move to another country, I think you have to undergo a CRB check - criminal records burea. Although it's conviction related, they do ask for financial details. So maybe, if you have been bankrupt or anything in that past, it might go against you. I'm not 100% sure though. Hope that helps. All the best with the move.
