Driving from Exmouth,Devon (ex8) to Greenwich,London (se10) Would like to go via the a303, but when I actually get to greater london (m25 area) which is the quickest route in at this time of the morning ? Also what time do you think I should leave? Thanks for your help, Sy

I would drive up on Sunday and stay in a cheap hotel overnight.
The joyrney is going to take you at least 4 hours, and possibly a lot longer. The traffich in and around London is particularly bad on Monday mornings.

Did try a few route planners, but can't find one that allows you to put in estimated arrive time and allows for traffic conditions at estimated time of day...?
Would be nice get up there the night before, but not possible, so will just have to get an early night. Wont be working too hard for a monday anyway!

As said, I'd go the night before, but if you can't the way I'd go is A303, M3, M25 (anti clock) to J2 and up the A2. According to where you are going in Greenwich, either come off at Shooters Hill Rd (A2/A207) or go along the A102(M) one junction to A206. As to time, depends how fast you drive, but to get there for 8am I would say you need to leave no later than 4am...its about 160 miles and come 6am you will be hitting traffic, so perhaps leave at 3.30am.
