Turkey or Tunisia?

I'm planning a holiday for last week in september/first week in october and can't decide where to go. Two holidays I've seen are Port El Kantaoui in Tunisia and Gumbet in Turkey. Has anyone been to either of them and let me know what they're like. I want it to be hot wherever I go so not sure about best place at that time of year as well. I'm just going with my boyfriend.

went to Port El Kantouai last year. It's a resort with lots of hotels plus a marina; the beach didn't seem very big (though I may have missed some), and people stay by the pools. It should be hot. If it's beach you want, Hammamet is good. I don't know Gumbet.

Been to both places

Gumbet has a sandy beach and good water sports and usual beach cafes. Nightlife fantastic if you're looking for that.

I would say Port El Kantaoui is probably more upmarket and the night life is quieter. Also say it is more expensive than Gumbet and Gumbet probably has more family visitors.

Depends on your budget really.
