LA or San Diego??

Where would i get the most out of it?
I want to get a tattoo while i am there-where is the most recommendable spots?
where is the most recommendable spot to stay in?

depends what you want. Disneyland is near LA, not near San Diego. Mexican border near San Diego, not near LA.

The best spot for a tattoo is still the arm, I believe, but with the back/shoulders gaining in popularity.

San Diego is easier to get around in and has several reputable tatoo parlors. I would stay in the states and not go to Mexico to get it done. there is also a lot to see in San Diego. Sea World, San Deigo Zoo, beaches, places to eat and fairly inexpensive places to stay. If you don't have transportation, try staying outside downtown on one of the trolly lines which can get you in and out of town in 20 min or less. Try the tatoo parlors in downtown, Hillcrest or North Park areas. Try San Diego web sites and look for cheap accomidations.
