Berlin

Does anyone know what goes on in Berlin on New Year's Eve?  Is there any big outdoor celebration thingy or are all the parties centred around specific bars/clubs/restaurants?  Many thanks.

Not been for New Year but I was there 2 days after The Wall came down and had the time of my life in the most fantastic city I've ever been to.

Ask around for The Irish Pub(it's underground) and the Irish Harp.  Unfortunately I was too drunk to remember their exact locations but they were two great pubs.
