where are you flying from? and where to? you won't get 'budget' price tickets to the US. the cheapet you're likely to get is about �200, LHR to NYC. See the BA sale currently on. If flying from MAN, bmi fly to Chicago and one or two other US cities i think

btw, i was unimpressed when i flew AA and would now choose BA in preference.
